CONDITIONS COVERING ADMISSION TO   CLARA LARA FUNPARK

(Compiled in the interests of safety and concern for the enjoyment of our visitors)

VISITORS ARE ADMITTED TO CLARA-LARA FUNPARK ONLY ON THE STRICT UNDERSTANDING THEY COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS.  THE MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ADMISSION AND TO EXPEL VISITORS FROM THE PARK AT ITS DISCRETION.  NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE.

SAFETY:  Visitors should assess their own ability to tackle obstacles or partake in any Park activity.  Instruction and advice is available from the Park staff.
Unsafe behaviour, abuse of equipment, rowdiness or lack of consideration towards other visitors will not be tolerated and persistent offenders will be expelled from the Park.
Diving headfirst into water or any pushing of other people is absolutely forbidden.
Orders and instructions given by a member of the Park staff are to be complied with instantly.

ALCOHOL:  Most Park activities are incompatible with the consumption of alcohol.  It is therefore strongly discouraged.

BOATING:  Boats should be treated with respect.  Splashing, ramming or sinking boats is absolutely forbidden and may result in boats being withdrawn.  No refunds will be made in such situations.

BOUNDARIES:  In parts the Park is bordered by private farmland and forestry.  Crossing boundary fences is forbidden.

DOGS:  Dogs are no longer permitted in the Park

FIRES:  Open fires may not be lit anywhere in the Park.  Barbecues, L.P.G. and camping gas cookers may be used provided they are not a fire hazard, are supervised by the user and the firebox is not in direct contact with the ground.

FOOTWEAR:  Suitable footwear for the activities being undertaken must be worn.  Footwear of some sort must always be worn.

GLASS:  Bottles and glasses are only permitted into the Park on the strict understanding they are kept within a defined area and taken away or put into litter bins before leaving.

MINORS:  Persons below the age of 18 must be in the charge of a responsible adult.

WILD FLOWERS AND PLANTS:  These may not be picked but should be left for the enjoyment of others.


ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS APPLYING TO GROUPS (10 persons or more) VISITING THE PARK.

1.  Visiting groups are to bring one reponsible adult for every ten children.  There will be no charge for these.  One of these  will be nominated as the 'Group Leader'.  This person will be answerable to the Park management for the behaviour of the group throughout their visit and will nominate a further one responsible adult for every ten members of the group to assist.
2.  The 'Group Leader' must complete the GROUP ENTRY FORM prior to the Group's admission to the Park and ensure that the above instructions are complied with by every member of the Group.
3. The Park is not suitable for groups with children above the age of 12 years:  Admission will be
refused to anyone over this age.

We have endeavoured to keep these conditions to a minimum.  Please help us to continue by behaving in a SAFE and SENSIBLE manner whilst at the Park.
