| Where are you? |
In Co. Wicklow, 4 miles from GLENDALOUGH, midway between Laragh and

| How much will it cost? |
Admission is E10.00 per person. There is no
charge for 4 year olds or under, or for senior citizens. Access to some
of the rides costs extra. The 'GOLD BAND' is a once off further payment of E9.00
and permits unlimited access to all rides to those having one. For a summary of

| What clothing should we bring? |
Old clothes, shoes and a change of clothes. The children, and maybe you, are going to get wet.
Suitable footwear must be worn. If
the weather is inclement bring suitable clothing! |
| Opening times? |
10.30 am - 6.00 pm weekends throughout May and daily from 31st May until 31st August. |
| What do you have there? |
30 acres of beautiful countryside in theAvonmore
River valley with tree houses, tarzan swings, rope bridges, rowing
boats, water slides, rafts, canoes, junior go-carts, B.B.Q.s, mini golf,
picnic areas, a restaurant and lots more. See our map. The lakes are all man made with a flat gravel bottom and approximately 2 feet deep. |
| What is Clara Lara Funpark? |
Clara Lara is an unique outdoor adventure Park
dedicated to providing healthy and creative fun for families and
groups of children. |
| What ages is it suitable for? |
There is lots here for all active ages. |
| Is it suitable for groups? |
Yes. It is ideal and a great day out for groups of children up to the age of 12 years. However teenagers are not permitted in groups and we will refuse them
admission unless prior written permission has been obtained. Check Group Rates |
| What is the Gold Bracelet? |
Use of all the fixtures in the Park is covered by
the Admission charge. However some rides such as the Go Carts, Water
Slide, etc are extra. The Gold Bracelet is a once off payment which
covers unlimited use of everything. It works out a great deal
cheaper than paying per ride. |
| May we bring dogs? |
We regret that dogs are no longer permitted in the Park. |
| Is the Park supervised? |
Yes. There are numerous supervisors and
operators around the Park. They wear a distinctive uniform and are
in continuous radio contact with each other. Their presence does not however absolve
visitors from behaving in a safe and sensible manner. |
| How long may we stay? |
We open at 10.30am. and close at 6.00pm.
You are welcome to stay as long as you wish within these times. |
| What about food? |
We have a picnic
restaurant serving burgers, chips, sandwiches, ice cream, teas and coffee etc. and a
small shop. There are extensive picnic areas and you are welcome to
bring your own picnics. We also have a limited number of B.B.Q.s. |
| Payment? |
Payment should be made on arrival by cash, verified
cheque, Visa or Mastercard. |
| What if it rains? |
It is an
outdoor park and has little cover: Bring suitable clothing
and you can still have lots of fun
! There are no refunds for bad weather. |
| Do we need to book? |
Booking is
not necessary for families. However groups wishing to avail of the Group Rate
or other benefits should book either by telephone or in
writing. Time permitting, we will send a letter of
acknowledgement. |
| Do you have overnight accommodation at the Park? |
No,
but there are a number of B.& B.s which take
children nearby and we can give you the details of these although we
cannot guarantee vacancies: Once you are in the 'network' however,
space can generally be found. |
| Do you have Barbeques? |
Yes. We
have a limited number of fixed barbeques, some catering sized, which are
available free to visitors. We cannot guarantee availability
although we will do our best to keep you one if notified on your
arrival. Charcoal and lighters are available at the shop or you may
bring your own. |
| Do you have parking? |
Yes. |
| Do you have toilets? |
Yes. We have adequate and hygienic toilets. However do not expect luxury due to the ambient Park activities. |
| Are you insured? |
We have full public liability
insurance. However visitors are expected to abide by our Conditions and behave in a safe
and sensible manner. Any claims against us will be vigorously defended. |
